Please help me pay off my loan

Help a Pensioner Pay Off a War-Driven Loan and Get a Stable Laptop

A Plea for Urgent Support in the Face of War

My name is Shevliakov Alim (Шевляков Алім), and I am reaching out in a time of desperation.

The ongoing war in Ukraine has not only brought destruction and fear but has also left my family in financial distress.

Kyiv, my home, is constantly under attack by cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as kamikaze drones.

This war has impacted every aspect of our lives, and I am now struggling to keep up with the burden it has placed upon me.

A Mother’s Struggle and a Grandfathers Sacrifice

In March 2022, a devastating explosion occurred near my daughter's home, shattering windows and doors and leaving her apartment exposed to the harsh elements.

Or look at the photo.

My daughter is a single mother, raising her children alone.

With no husband to support her and no savings to cover the damages, she faced an impossible situation.

As a pensioner surviving on a meager monthly pension of just $120, I couldn’t bear to see my daughter and granddaughters suffer.

Despite my limited means, I took out a loan to replace the broken windows and doors, ensuring that my family had a safe and warm home.

But with the war raging on, prices for everything have soared, making the loan even more burdensome.

The Growing Debt and an Unstable Livelihood

Unfortunately, after two years, I have been unable to pay off the loan, and instead of decreasing, it has only grown due to monthly charges.

As of now, I owe $10,600, and by the end of March, this amount will increase by another $300.

The burden is overwhelming, and I am left with no options but to seek the kindness of others.

To make matters worse, my laptop, which I rely on to earn a small income, is failing.

It frequently freezes, making it difficult for me to work effectively.

A stable laptop would give me a chance to regain some financial independence and work towards repaying this debt.

I participated in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident in 1986. I even have a medal.

I need to pay more attention to my health, but I have absolutely no money for it.

Food prices have risen sharply. I already eat mostly pasta.

My granddaughters went to 1st grade last year.

They need clothes and shoes for the spring.

They grow up fast and they need bigger shoes and clothes for the new season.

I really want to eat normally...

How You Can Help

I am humbly asking for your support in paying off this loan and helping me buy a new laptop so I can continue working.

Any amount you can contribute will make a difference in lifting this heavy financial burden off my shoulders.

Your kindness and generosity will not only provide financial relief but also restore my hope in these difficult times.

I am truly grateful for your support, and I pray that you and your loved ones always have peace and security.

Thank you for reading my story and for any help you can offer.

May God bless you with peace and kindness.

Please help! I'm just desperate!

I would be grateful for a donation of any amount.
